Dear universe: can everyone stop dying so much? This is getting a bit overloaded.
I really regret not being able to meet him. There was a book signing event at Meadowhall sometime in the late 90s I nearly made it to, but it was on a school day. I often think going there would have been a lot more valuable than whatever was going on at school at that time. I'd have at least remembered it, I'm sure.
