I think I've found a plant I can eat!

it came in a box from [personal profile] pointytilly and it is called Hello Kitty Roasted Seasoned Seaweed. No really, it's awesome. It comes in thin translucent sheets. It's like eating flavoured Quality Street wrappers. It's tasty as fuck and I want it as a sandwich addition now.

I keep thinking this is something that desperately needs to be on KUEC, but that may well because I've been doing a fast catchup of all the episodes and I recently reached the one with the Hello Kitty hot chocolate that "tastes like pink" and the following assertion that the phrase "what does pink taste like" is a bad idea to google for.

Wait, is seaweed even classified as a plant? I forgot.

(Unrelated: I am so getting Pokemon Emerald now just for the damn soundtrack)

oh yeah (re crossposts)

Anyone know how if there's a way to force the lj user code to display for the correct site?

Background: I've taken up posting to DW and setting up a crosspost setting to LJ. This works really nicely but whenever I use the lj user code, the crossposted entry defaults to the DW coding. I have to go in manually to change it to the LJ version. I normally post with a client (Semagic on my main computer, Elljay on the phone/tablet) but it also happens if I use the browser based post page.*

Is there a way to make the crossposter not do this? It's extra annoying because LJ is my main network, so if I use a user/community code, I'm almost certainly talking about someone there.

*I almost never use in browser posting. If, like me, you ever used AOL circa 2000 and experienced a disconnect when you were in the middle of typing something up, you know why.
